In June 2018, the Lord led Thad Peacock to become the senior pastor of GBC. Prior to coming to GBC, Pastor Peacock and his family had spent about five years in the Canadian Arctic as missionaries to the indigenous Inuit people of Nunavut. Pastor Peacock and his wife, Emily, met at their sending church in their pre-teen years and developed a friendship throughout their teen years that led to marriage in October of 2004. God has blessed their family with seven daughters and one son.
